For your convenience the material is compressed into a 5 kg block. Coco Coir has a unique ability to withstand high compaction force without sacrificing its beneficial structural characteristics. After adding 5 Gal. of water it will yield 2.2 cu. ft. to 2.5 cu. ft. of growing medium. Hydrate the block slowly and allow the moisture to be fully absorbed. Once the block is completely reconstituted you are ready to use it to improve your potting soils or use it as a 100% growing medium.
